<p>The invention relates to a method for determining the complex surface of a progressive ophthalmic lens, that comprises the following steps: selecting a starting complex surface having a main progression meridian line with power addition between a far-sight reference point and a close-sight reference point; selecting a central band (10) including the main progression meridian line; reproducing the selected central band (10) on both sides of the main progression meridian line; building the complex surface of the lens by successively reproducing the selected bands towards the periphery of the lens. The method provides a lens with reduced astigmatism, prismatic deviations and distortions for a better comfort of the wearer.</p> |
