<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver in which viewing can be surely limited through simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A second remote control device, a second remote control receiving circuit which receives a signal from the device, and a second power switch of which ON/OFF is controlled by the circuit, are additionally provided in a conventional television. The second remote control device comprises a switch for selecting a first mode during which the second power switch is turned off at all the time, a second mode during which the second power switch is turned off at all the time, and a third mode during which viewing is limited. In the case where the third mode is selected, the second remote control receiving circuit stores viewing limitation conditions set by the second remote control device, and controls the second power switch in accordance with the stored conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
