<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt moving device which reduces the speed fluctuation of a belt and the positional deviation from the belt target position in a sub scanning direction, and accurately performs the positional control also in a main scanning direction, and also to provide an image forming apparatus using the belt moving device, thereby preventing color misalignment in the formed image in both the main and sub scanning directions, and forming an image of high image quality. <P>SOLUTION: A belt biasing control means is configured to feed back a target value canceling the biasing position fluctuation in one round of an endless belt 101, relative to the control contents of a moving means 300, and also, to feed forward a value obtained by multiplying the reverse transfer characteristics of the moving means 300 by the transfer characteristics of the target value of the moving means 300, the biasing position fluctuation in the one round of the endless belt 101 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
