<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously obtain relatively large torque by connecting both two motors to a driving shaft by a shift transmission means in a power output device with two motors and a shift transmission means. <P>SOLUTION: In a hybrid vehicle 20 with the power output device, when the vehicle travels in a two motor traveling mode in which both motors MG1 and MG2 are connected to a driving shaft 67 by a transmission 60, one of the two motors MG1 and MG2 is decided as a main motor which preferentially outputs a power (S130), and the motor MG2 or MG1 as the main motor given priority over the other motor MG1 or MG2 as a sub-motor outputs a power, and torque commands Tm1* and Tm2* for the motors MG1 and MG2 are set so that torque based on request torque Tr* can be output to the driving shaft 67 (S140 to S150 or S180 to S200). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
