<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element having a preferable structure of extracting light to the outside, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor light-emitting element 100 has a semiconductor structure 10 having a first conductivity type semiconductor 2 and a second conductivity type semiconductor 4 on a substrate 1 in this order; and a semiconductor light-emitting structure 30 having the semiconductor 2 and the semiconductor 4 equipped with a first electrode 5 and a second electrode 6, respectively.
