<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element which can suppress deformation of an antireflection layer and has high reliability, a transferring metal mold for manufacturing such an optical element, the manufacturing method of the transferring metal mold for manufacturing such the transferring metal mold, and the manufacturing method of the optical element for manufacturing such the optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element 1 such as a plastic lens is made of a synthetic resin and is constituted by forming an antireflection layer 12 on the surface of a basic resin part 11 formed by resin molding.
