<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article supporting carriage which can be compactly folded when not in use and easily stored in a narrow space. <P>SOLUTION: This article supporting carriage is composed of a bottom frame 2, a plurality of casters 3, 4 attached to the bottom surface of the bottom frame 2, a supporting frame 5 formed of a pair of right and left struts 13, 13 erected on the bottom frame 2 to support an article 8 and an article supporting plate 14 integrally connecting the upper end portions of both the struts 13, 13, and a pair of right and left stays 6, 6 erected on the bottom frame 2 and cross-connected respectively to both the struts 13, 13. Both the struts 13, 13 are fallably connected to the bottom frame 2 through first pivots 21, 21, the upper end portions of the stays 6, 6 are rotatably connected to the struts 13, 13 through second pivots 22, 22 parallel with the first pivots 21, 21, and also the lower end portion of each stay 6 is connected to a bracket 19 on the bottom frame 2 through a telescopic connection pin 30.
