<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device capable of firmly retaining a shift lever to a neutral position and not resonating with vibration from a transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The shift lever device 1 has the shift lever 2; and a base member 3 having a shift lever support part 31 pivotably supporting the shift lever 2 in a selection direction and a shift direction and a positioning member 32 for biasing the shift lever 2 in each rotation direction of one direction and the other direction of the selection direction so that the shift lever 2 is balanced at the neutral position in the selection direction. The positioning member 32 is provided with a first elastic member 321 for pressing in such a state that at least a part is contacted with the shift lever 2 and expands and contracts accompanied by the pivoting of the shift lever 2 in the selection direction; and a second elastic member 322 having a smaller spring constant than that of the first elastic member 321 and arranged in series to the first elastic member 321. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
