PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule-type medical apparatus capable of transmitting signals without reducing a residual capacity of a built-in power source unnecessarily. SOLUTION: The capsule-type medical apparatus, equipped with an information acquiring part for acquiring subject's internal information, comprises a plurality of communicating electrodes which is disposed on a surface of the capsule-type medical apparatus and is capable of communicating to output the information acquiring by the information acquiring part to the outside of the subject, a signal converting part which outputs electrical signals output in accordance with the information acquired by the information acquiring part by converting them to electrode driving signals for driving by generating a difference of electrical potentials between the communicating electrodes, a signal output switching part for switching an output state of the electrode driving signal, and a signal switching control part which controls the signal output switching part to halt the output of the electrode driving signal in a period in which the electrical signals are not output from the output state of the electrical signals.
