PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact probe pin capable of securing reliability, while coping with narrowing of a pitch. SOLUTION: This contact probe pin is equipped with the first conductive probe wherein a hollow part having an opening on one side has a slidable smooth surface, the second conductive probe arranged slidably in the electrical contact state with the inside surface of the first probe, and a coil spring for energizing in the direction wherein the first probe and the second probe are separated each other. The first probe has the first projection part on an opening edge on the facing side to the second probe, and the second probe has a sliding shaft part whose part is inserted from the opening to the hollow part of the first probe, a shaft body part extended in the axial direction from the end on the opposite side to the side inserted into the first probe, and the second projection part projecting from the outside surface of a sliding shaft part side end to the radial direction outside.
