Safety switch for household water heaters is mounted at the outlet pipe for hot water and it adds to the existing switch of water heaters and automatically switches the water heater off the circuit so that by opening the hot water at the valve of the tap the pressure in the plumbing system and over the membrane (2) of the thrust piston (4) the switch is, by the lever (6), activated and due to the contact achieved on the system cable prior to its entry into the thermostat (4) it switches off the electic current to the water heater. When switching it on again, the water heated by closing the hot water tap so that by increasing the pressure in the plumbing system the membrane is thrusted down i.e. the thrust piston and over the lever of the switch the electric circuit is achieved. The safety switch, in an assembly like this, secures the safety in the use of the water heaters even when the boiler is not switched off from the grid, i.e. it prevents the possibility of death due to electric shortcut.
