<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding tool, and a manufacturing method of metal ingots using the feeding tool reducing a remaining amount of an electrode at melting completion of a melting electrode, and capable of suppressing reaching of melting to a stub, in regard to vacuum arc melting. <P>SOLUTION: The feeding tool is for connecting an electrode for ingot smelting in a vacuum arc melting furnace to a power source, it is composed of a stub relay body joined to the electrode and a stub body joined to the stub relay body, and a recessed part is formed on a bottom face of the stub relay body. In the manufacturing method of metal ingots, the feeding tool for vacuum arc melting is joined to the electrode to carry out vacuum arc melting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
