<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology inhibiting thrash of a valve element and inhibiting wear of the valve element in an exhaust bypass device for a turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust bypass device for the turbocharger uses open ends A, B of two bypass passages extending from a middle of two scroll passages as valve seats, enables one of the valve elements to butt on the valve seat, and enables two bypass passages to open and close. The open ends A, B of the two bypass passages are arranged symmetrical with respect to an axis C crossing perpendicularly to a parallel direction in a middle of the parallel direction in which the open ends A, B are arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
