<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like aromatic material which is suitable for, for example, a cooling material for a pillow or a refrigerating material since it has a certain degree of hardness and viscosity and keeps a desired aroma retained stably for a long period of time, gives a stable usage condition since it is equipped with prescribed elasticity to prevent the separation or the peeling against a load, has a cooling effect at normal temperature and certain elasticity without freezing at the time of refrigerating, gives relaxation effects and comfortable sleep by the combination of the aroma with the cooling effect, and is easily and inexpensively manufactured, and to provide a method of manufacturing it. <P>SOLUTION: An aromatic material is placed by dispersing inside an aqueous gel comprising absorbent macromolecules so that the aroma of certain strength keeps retained for a long period of time by suppressing the volatilization of the liquid aromatic material such as an essential oil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
