<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device, for efficiently rendering three-dimensional graphics data. <P>SOLUTION: Strength of fog effect applied to the three-dimensional graphics data is calculated, it is determined whether to execute texture mapping to the three-dimensional graphics data or not by the calculated strength of the fog effect, and the texture mapping is performed by a determined result to reduce a frequency of memory access for reading a texture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
