PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new authentication method using fingerprint.

SOLUTION: This method for constructing a fingerprint discrimination model for deciding whether or not a user is identified based on the fingerprint by a neural network includes: a fingerprint collection process for collecting the fingerprints of a plurality of persons to be registered and the others at least once as images; a Fourier transform process for applying the Fourier transform to the fingerprint images collected by the fingerprint collection process to acquire an amplitude spectrum and a phase spectrum; a reserve Fourier transform process for performing reverse Fourier transform by using the amplitude spectrum and the phase spectrum acquired by the Fourier transform process respectively as an imaginary part and a real part to prepare an image for learning; and a learning process for learning identification by a neural network by using the prepared image for learning.
