<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a potential prior to exposure from influencing measurement of the potential after exposure by putting the restriction on measurement into a system. <P>SOLUTION: In the characteristic evaluation apparatus of a photoreceptor drum, a charger, a surface electrometer probe, a laser writing device, a surface electrometer probe (2), and a destaticizing lamp are arranged, each unit is movable in the radial direction of the drum, and the surface electrometer probe (2) is movable in the circumferential direction of the drum. The arrangement angle (θ) of the surface electrometer probe (2) (the angle formed by the laser incident position of the drum surface and the arrangement position of the surface electrometer probe) satisfies expression (1) (where A denotes the diameter of the potential detection range of the electrometer probe (unit: mm), D is drum diameter (unit: mm)). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
