An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) cap and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to extend a lifetime by absorbing moisture or dust through a getter previously installed on the cap. A method for manufacturing an OLED cap(3) includes the steps of: forming a depressed groove on the cap to receive an OLED deposition unit(2) deposited on a substrate(1); forming a getter groove along a circumference of an edge of the depressed groove; installing a protection film on a bottom surface of the depressed groove except the getter groove; inserting and filling a getter(6) made of material to absorb dust and moisture inside the getter groove; drying the getter inserted into the getter groove; and removing the protection film and trimming the getter outside the getter groove. |
