The system has a coating device (7) with spraying nozzles (8) for spraying fibers (1) leaving a fiber exit pipe (5) and entering a dropping pipe (6) with droplets of glue. A suction device (11) is provided for suction of air from the dropping pipe through a transport band (10). The suction device has suction boxes at which suction lines are attached. The suction boxes are formed as cleaning boxes with a cleaning device for removing the fibers, which are penetrated from the transport band into the boxes.
