The stool (10) has a block (12) made of foamed polymer containing thermoplastic, elastomer and/or duroplastic foam, where the polymer is polystyrene, polypropylene, PVC and polyurethane. A side (14) is designed as a carrying and standing surface provided with a texture. The block is formed from cuboids with a pair of quadratic sides or from a dice. The side is fixed by edges and dyed with a signal color. The block has a holder for rotating and carrying the stool. Corners and edges of the block are blunt. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a seat-cum-stepping stool.
