The method involves determining a clutch torque from a determined internal moment by reduction of the internal moment to an actual determined motor friction torque and an actual auxiliary unit e.g. air conditioner, torque by a torque model. Corrected torque is determined in a stationary idle mode of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle such that the torque determined in the stationary idle mode corresponds to zero or a preset value. The model is adapted based on the determined corrected torque. An independent claim is also included for a circuit arrangement for implementing a method for adaptive determination of clutch torque.
