A system and a method for distributing a profit, and a program recording medium for the same are provided to confirm information of an owner of copyright of contents and distribute a part of a profit generated by using the contents to the owner of the copyright. A system for distributing a profit includes an information storage unit(100) storing contents information registered by a client at a predetermined storage medium(125), connecting the contents information with information of an owner of copyright of the contents; an information confirming unit confirming the information of the owner of copyright of the contents stored at the storage medium, by interworking with the storage medium when predetermined profit is generated by using the contents; and a profit distributing unit distributing the generated profit to the confirmed owner of copyright of the contents.
