Noise correction in images captured by a system with inertial stabilisation

The method involves capturing images by an image capturing device (11), where the images are animated of a defined movement that is determined by applying digital processing of preceding and following images. Spatial noise relative to flow detectors and affecting a common part of the images is corrected by a correction module (14) based on the movement, according to a shifting defined between a value of a reference pixel in the common part of the preceding image and a value of a pixel which represents the same point of a scene as the reference pixel in the common part of the following image. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an image processing system comprising a control module (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions to perform a method for processing an image.
