Method of manufacturing a turbine blade

The method involves molding a blank (R) of a turbine blade, and positioning and fixing the blank with a blade (2) in a holder by positioning elements and tensioning devices (3, 4). A final shape of a blade root (1) is formed by removal of material. An actual shape of the blade is determined before and/or during the final shaping of the blade root by a controller. The position of the blade in the holder is adjusted when a deviation from a desired shape is determined.
