Horse-riding saddle and method for manufacturing same

The saddle has a semi-rigid trapeze (2) cooperating with a semi-rigid pommel (1), where the trapeze is provided with panels having stiffeners made of composite material. The pommel is movable with respect to the trapeze. The trapeze is placed opposite to the back of a horse on which the saddle is arranged. Front parts (12) of the trapeze and the pommel are connected together by an attachment (32). The attachment has an axle with an insert (33) connected to the pommel and a screw (34) traversing an oblong hole (24) of the trapeze, where the oblong hole has a maximum width of 2.5 centimeters. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a horse-riding saddle.
