METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF FERMENTATION STATE OF COTTON WASTE FOR OYSTER MUSHROOM CULTURE AND DIAGNOSTIC KIT

A method and a kit for diagnosing fermentation state of cotton waste for oyster mushroom culture are provided to diagnose the fermentation state easily through color reaction of a pH indicator and an ammonia coloring agent caused by the difference of pH and ammonia concentration of the cotton waste for oyster mushroom culture in accordance with the fermentation state of the cotton waste. Either pH or an ammonia content or both of the pH and the ammonia content of the cotton waste for oyster mushroom during the fermentation is measured in order to diagnose fermentation state of cotton waste for oyster mushroom culture. A kit for diagnosing the fermentation state of the cotton waste for oyster mushroom culture comprises a pH measurement portion including bromothymol blue or an ammonia content measurement portion including indophenol blue.
