<p>Soil microorganisms selection involves percolating soil material with an aqueous solution by formation of leachate, where the leachate is incubated, and microorganisms are identified. The soil material used is contaminated with an organic substance. The aqueous solution contains the organic substance, which is degraded by the microorganisms. The aqueous solution contains nutrients, co-substrates, vitamins, growth substances, trace elements, electron acceptors, mobility agents, or substances for controlling the concentration of the organic substances. An independent claim is also included for a medium for degrading organic substances in soil or near-soil areas.</p> |
