A liquid crystal display device and a testing method thereof are provided to test liquid crystal of each block by using test transistor groups respectively corresponding to each block to reduce the length of test control lines and test data lines connected with the test transistor groups and to reduce the distortion of test signals. A liquid crystal display device comprises an image display part(130), multiple test pad groups(110,120), and multiple test transistor groups. The image display part is divided into multiple blocks. The test pad groups are formed to correspond to each block. The test transistor groups supply test signals supplied to the test pad groups to liquid crystal cells. The test transistor groups are test transistor. The test transistor groups include first test transistors(SWR1,SWR2) connected with the signal lines corresponding to the liquid crystal cells displaying red color, second test transistors(SWG1,SWG2) connected with the signal lines corresponding to the liquid crystal cells displaying green color, and third test transistors(SWB1,SWB2) connected with the signal lines corresponding to the liquid crystal cells displaying blue color.
