A light emitting element, and a light emitting device using the light emitting element are provided to obtain a white light emitting element showing the color near the natural white light. A light emitting element comprises a transparent substrate(100); and a first light emitting element(120) and a second light emitting element(110) which are laminated in serial on the substrate, wherein the first light emitting element comprises a first positive electrode(121), a first negative electrode(123), and a first light emitting layer(122) comprising a light emitting organic compound inserted between the first positive electrode and the first negative electrode; and the second light emitting element comprises a second positive electrode(111), a second negative electrode(113), and second and third light emitting layers(112-1,112-2) comprising a light emitting organic compound inserted between the second positive electrode and the second negative electrode. The first negative electrode is connected with the second positive electrode, and the first light emitting element shows the first luminescent spectrum having a peak in a red wavelength range, and the second light emitting element shows the second luminescent spectrum having a peak in a blue wavelength range and a green wavelength range.
