A navigation apparatus and a method of searching and displaying a gas station using the same are provided to guide a gas station providing the most inexpensive refueling price by updating refueling price on a central server. A navigation apparatus includes a GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver(100), a storage(200), an input part(400), a wireless communication part(500), a display(700), a fuel amount detector(600), and a controller(300). The GPS receiver receives a GPS signal. The storage stores visiting times to a gas station. The input part inputs oil price per liter of the gas station. The wireless communication part is connected with a central server. The display shows a path to the gas station. The fuel amount detector detects the amount of residual oil. The controller detects the visiting times and stores in the storage, transmits the inputted oil price to the central server, and guides to an optimal gas station by searching the gas stations based on the visiting times and the oil price.
