THE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INFORMING AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT USING TELEMATICS DEVICE

A system and a method for informing vehicle accidents using a telematics terminal are provided to prevent the vehicle accidents by informing messages related to the vehicle accidents to the telematics terminal directly. A network between vehicles is set through telematics terminals, which are mounted on vehicles, using Ad-hoc communication scheme(200). An impact is detected through a vehicle sensor which is mounted on vehicles, and the impact data is transmitted to the telematics terminals(201). The degree of accident is determined based on the impact data by the telematics terminals(202). The vehicles are controlled by the degree of the accident(202-1,202-2). An accident informing message is transmitted to the telematics terminals, which are connected through the network(203).
