The present invention is concerned with a method and with an access node (100) arranged to execute the method, for controlling a transmission of at least one request between neighbouring access nodes (100) in a radio communications system (1000). The technique of the invention comprises of verifying a class of the at least one request being transmitted between the neighbouring access nodes (100), wherein the class assigned by access node (100) indicates a priority of the request. Based upon the verified class, then controlling the transmission of the request.
