A hinge leaf arrangement 10 provides hinged attachment of a door or window to a frame and comprises a leaf member 74; a fastening arrangement 84 operable to attach the leaf member 74 to the door or window. The hinge further comprises a cover 20 operable to cover the fastening arrangement after the leaf arrangement 10 has been attached. The cover 20 prevents access to the fastening arrangement and is pivotally mounted on the leaf member to be movable to and from the closed position while remaining mounted on the leaf member 72. A lock may be provided to lock the cover 20 in position, which may comprise a resilient catch member 108. The hinge may comprise a spindle 32 mounted in socket 28 which may be adjustable parallel with and transverse to its axis. Access to fixing screws may be blocked by the spindle 32 and hinge leaf 74.
