METHOD OF VARIABLE POINT PRIME FACTOR FFT FOR DRM SYSTEM

A variable point prime factor FFT method for DRM(Digital Radio Mondiale) reception is provided to simplify a structure of an FFT processing module by performing a radix calculation in all DRM transmission modes. Input data are divided by a plurality of FFT processes(S220). A determination process is performed to determine whether an input point of the FFT process corresponds to a square of 2, or not(S232). A radix process is performed when the input point of the FFT process corresponds to the square of 2(S252). An input point corresponding to the square of 2 is generated by inserting garbage data into the input point when the input point of the FFT process does not correspond to the square of 2 and an output generated by the garbage data is removed after a radix process using the generated input point is performed(S254).
