<p>The module (5) has a microcontroller provided corresponding to a bus system control module (2) for identical processing of data transmitted via a databus (3) e.g. serial data bus such as ring bus. The microcontroller ensures correct data communication with a safety function such that mutual checking of the safety function takes place by data exchange via the databus with the bus system control module. An interface control unit controls the data communication on the databus and transfers the data provided for mutual checking of the safety function in the continuous datastream.</p> |
