Composite structure with a polyurethane coating, method for its manufacture and application

In a laminated article (A) comprising (a) polyurethane (PU) layer(s), (b) a supporting layer, (c) a grained covering layer and optionally (d) an adhesive layer between the other layers, the covering layer (c) contains a linear PU (I) based on a bifunctional aliphatic, cycloaliphatic and/or heterocyclic polyol (II) and an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic and/or heterocyclic diisocyanate (III). In a laminate article (A) comprising (a) polyurethane (PU) layer(s), (b) a supporting layer (specifically of textile, PVC, polyolefin or PU foam), (c) a grained covering layer and optionally (d) an adhesive layer between the other layers, the covering layer (c) contains a PU of formula -(O-(CH2)m-R1>-(CH2)m-O-CO-NH-R2>-NH-CO)n-(I). O(CH2)mR1>(CH2)mO : residue of bifunctional polyol (II) with terminal primary hydroxy functions; R1, R2aliphatic, cycloaliphatic and/or heterocyclic groups; n : 1-50000; m : at least 2. An independent claim is included for the production of (A).
