The device has stator tools (26) oppositely arranged by adherence of a work gap (35) of rotor sided machining tools (24). The stator tools work together with the machining tools, and are adjusted by an adjuster (31) in a radial direction for positioning the work gap. The adjuster comprises an inclined storage space, which forms a contact area directly or indirectly. The storage space is relatively relocated against the stator tools, and the stator tools are guided into a guide during a relative displacement.
