Method for determining parameters of a haemodialysis during extracorporeal blood treatment comprises adjusting the dialysis liquid flow rate to a value at which the concentration of a substance in the dialysis liquid flowing from the dialysis liquid chamber absorbs the concentration of the substance in the blood and measuring the concentration of the substance in the dialysis liquid as the parameter to be determined or as an intermediate value for the parameter to be determined. An independent claim is also included for a blood treatment device for carrying out the above method. Preferred Features: The dialysis liquid flow rate to the end of the blood treatment is reduced to a value at which the concentration of the substance in the dialysis liquid absorbs the same concentration in the blood.
