The invention relates to a method for vaporizing and reforming liquid fuels, particularly the catalytic and non-catalytic partial oxidation and the autothermal reforming of liquid fuels while adding air or air/fuel mixtures or air/water mixtures. The invention solves the problems associated with mixture formation, soot formation and with the conversion to low hydrocarbons and hydrogen in conjunction with existing reforming methods.
