An embossed film speaker and a method for producing the same are provided to improve sound characteristics by forming a plurality of curved parts instead of a planar structure. A base film(10) is composed of a polymer film having a plurality of curved parts(5). A lower electrode layer(20) is overlapped with the curved parts on the base film. A piezoelectric complex layer(30) is formed on the lower electrode layer. The piezoelectric complex layer is composed of a mixture of piezoelectric powders and a polymer matrix. An upper electrode layer(40) is overlapped with the piezoelectric complex layer. An electrical signal applying terminal is connected to the upper electrode layer and the lower electrode layer.
