The present invention provides an apparatus for making a screen, said apparatus characterised in that it comprises a manifold (12) having a plurality (56, 7) of nozzles arranged thereon for applying glue to a screen. The invention also provides a method for making a screen for a vibratory separator using an apparatus (100) comprising a main body (4) and a pluralit y of nozzles (56, 7) movably connected thereto, the method comprising the step s of placing at least one layer of screening material below said apparatus, applying glue from at least one of said plurality of nozzles in a pattern (1 0) to at least a portion of the at least one layer of screening material by moving said plurality of nozzles over the at least one layer of screening material. The invention also provides a method for making a screen, the meth od comprising the steps of placing a substrate below an apparatus (100) comprising a main body (4) and a plurality of nozzles movably connected thereto, applying glue from at least one of the nozzles (5, 6, 7) in a patte rn to at least a portion of the substrate by moving said nozzles over said substrate, applying screening material to said glue and separating said glue from said substrate.
