A system and a method for wiretapping an MS are provided to wiretap the MS without special protocol/voice data processing and without setting an additional voice data transmission channel for interworking with a main monitoring device. A wiretapping command receiver(342) receives a wiretapping command through a command processor prepared at an OMP(Operation Maintenance Processor) of a CCS(Central Control Subsystem) when an operator or a user inputs the wiretapping command. A wiretapping command processor(343) analyzes a corresponding command after receiving the wiretapping command from the wiretapping command receiver, and stores information such as the numbers for a wiretapping target mobile terminal and a wiretapping incoming mobile terminal at a wiretapping database(345). A wiretapping command performing unit(344) senses call connection between an originating MS and a receiving MS. If a number of the originating MS is a number of the wiretapping object MS, the wiretapping command performing unit receives a call for the number of the wiretapping receiving MS. If receiving a response from the wiretapping receiving MS, the wiretapping command performing unit connects a call channel of the originating MS to a call channel of the wiretapping receiving MS. After that, the wiretapping command performing unit intercepts a transmission path of the wiretapping receiving MS.
