摘要 An NFC(Near Field Communication) device and a method for selectively using a power supply voltage are provided to support an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag mode by supplying power generated based on an RF(Radio Frequency) signal to an inner circuit in using up a battery. An NFC device includes an inner circuit(23), a battery(25), a rectifier(29), a voltage detector(31), and a selection circuit(33). The rectifier converts an RF signal received through an antenna(21) into a DC voltage. The voltage detector generates a detection signal based on a comparison result of an output voltage of the battery and a reference voltage outputted from a reference voltage generator. The selection circuit is connected to the battery and the rectifier and supplies any one of the output voltage of the battery and the DC voltage of the rectifier as an operation voltage of the inner circuit in response to the detection signal.
