#CMT# #/CMT# The method is for the preparation of a sheet or strip with an integrated label or card for use as membership card, insurance card, access card or similar. A sheet (1) is used, which can be of paper, but other materials can be used, which at least on the front side can be provided with printed text. At least on the rear side of the sheet a shelf-adhesive layer (2) is impressed, which has a preferable thickness of 0.03 millimeters. #CMT# : #/CMT# On the adhesive layer, a lacquer layer (3) is applied, which can be dried under the influence of ultraviolet light. The thickness of this layer is preferably 0.03 +/- 0.005 millimeters. The lacquer layer, at least on one side edge, partly extends next to the self-adhesive layer. This permits the lacquer layer partly to adhere to the paper sheet.
