Improved filter structures are provided to solve problems that current production facilities used in the formation of creases in filter media typically cannot accommodate continuous filter media with a width larger than about two meters, and a long filter cartridge is relatively difficult to handle, transport and install. In a filter assembly(26) for use in a baghouse, the baghouse having a tube sheet(44) with a plurality of openings(46), the filter assembly comprises: a first filter element(80) including a mounting structure which is at a first axial end of the first filter element, and which attaches the first filter element to the tube sheet adjacent to an opening, a first tubular member(140) which is fixed to the mounting structure and extends from the mounting structure, a first creased filter media(120) disposed adjacently to the first tubular member, and a first member having a threaded portion connected to the tubular member at a second axial end of the first filter element; and a second filter element(82) including a second member having a threaded portion at a first axial end of the second filter element, a second tubular member(180) which is connected to the second member and extends from the second member, and a second creased filter media(200) disposed adjacently to the second tubular member, wherein the first and second threaded members are formed in a tubular shape, the threaded portions are threadedly joinable to connect the first filter element and the second filter element and permit fluid communication between the first and second filter elements, and the threaded portions of the first and second members are deviated from the axial extents of the first and second filter elements.
