An eraser of a whiteboard is provided to use up a board marker effectively by boring fixing grooves and sticking the board marker in the fixing groove while setting the board marker upside down. In the existing eraser of a whiteboard, a user puts up a board marker obliquely, when the ink of the board marker does not flow out well. But, the user stands the marker board erectly with the eraser having a fixing groove. The fixing groove is dug on the upper surface of the eraser of the whiteboard corresponding to the size of the board marker. If the ink of the board marker is left little or a cap is missing, the board marker is stuck in the fixing groove while inversely setting up the board marker.
