A backlight unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module having the same are provided to prevent image display faults such as wave noise faults generated by current leaked from first and second lamp wires, and easily perform an assembling process and basically prevent damage of the first and second lamp wires by preventing the first and second lamp wires from being exposed to the outside of a support main. A support main(150) is formed in a square frame shape and receives at least one lamp(161). A lamp driver(170) is disposed in the outside of the support main, and generates a driving signal for driving the at least one or more lamps. Plural connectors(180,181) are installed one side of the support main so as to connect one or more couples of lamp wires(167,169), prolonged from the at least one lamp in the inside of the support main, with the lamp driver disposed in the outside of the support main. |
