A DSC having a location information storing function is provided to receive location information from an object such as a mobile terminal or an RFID tag having a GPS function, and connect the received location information with information about a photographed picture before storing the connected information. A DSC(Digital Still Camera)(101) has an RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) reader within it, and receives a tag response including location information from an RFID tag(103) present within a recognition range. The DSC receives location information from a device of performing a GPS(Global Positioning System) function such as a mobile terminal(105). The DSC connects the received location information with information about a photographed picture, and stores the connected information to provide a caption function for the picture.
