The invention relates to an illuminated signalling device for pedestrian crossings, in which the pedestrian crossing indicator plate (7) is illuminated using a stand-alone system including a solar panel (8) mounted on the post (5) or on the rear part of the indicator plate (7) and a propeller (9) associated with said panel.
