A plasma display panel is provided to reduce the alignment error of address and display electrodes and discharge cells by increasing dimensional stability of a mother glass. A plasma display panel includes front and rear substrates(15,10), address electrodes(11), and display electrodes(16). The rear substrate is disposed opposite to the front substrate. The address electrodes are extended along a first direction on the rear substrate. The display electrodes are extended along a second direction across the first direction on the front substrate. Long and short side lengths(Lbh,Lbv) of the rear substrate satisfy a relation, 1.05<=(2Lbh/3Lvb)<=1.3.
